Well … things were definitely green around here last week. The City of Dublin (OH) hosted around 23,000 spectators for the Dublin OH St Patrick's Day Parade 2009fabulous St. Patrick’s Day parade and festivities.   Of course it helped that the weather was nice (and our float won an award for being the best of its category)!   Judging from the photos I snapped, people were having lots of fun being Irish … or … Irish-for-a-day (depending).  To check out some fun pictures from the event, check out our Flickr link here or at the bottom of this page.  You can also visit (or join) the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Dublin, Ohio USA group on Flickr.   If you missed the fun … don’t worry.  The City will be getting its green on for the annual Dublin Irish Festival in just 142 short days. (Tip: Reserve your hotel room NOW.)  Watch the official Festival web site for updates. More soon!
